Exeposé‘s own singer-songwriter extraordinare Tom Elliott reveals his current favourite spins.
Graffitit6 – Wash My Sins
Graffiti6 are one of the bands that I’m most excited about at the moment. “Wash My Sins” is their first release since their 2010 debut album “Colours.” They’ve fused soul, pop and acoustic influences with techno beats to create a fresh Summer sound.
Coasts – Wallow
If you haven’t listened to Coasts yet, google them now. Currently taking the UK indie scene by storm, Wallow’s anthemic chorus and intricate guitar riffs show that this is a band who have the potential to join Two Door Cinema Club, Foals and Bombay Bicycle Club in British indie band royalty.
Hot Natured – Reverse Skydiving
Great beat. Great vocals. Great title. This is probably my favourite dance release of the past few months.
Current Swell – Young and Able
Current Swell are a Canadian folk/surf band who sound like they get to ski, surf and enjoy the sunshine all year round. Plus, they’re supporting The Skints at the Phoenix on 31st May.
The 1975 – So Far (It’s Alright)
So Far (It’s Alright) is a great chilled track off of the band’s new EP “IV”. It’s also got a xylophone, which is always a bonus.
