The organisers of ‘August: Osage County’ have cancelled tonight’s opening show due to bad weather conditions.

According to the Northcott Theatre, the terrible weather conditions which have dominated the South West over the last two days has raised health and safety concerns for those involved. It is hoped that the weather will only disrupt tonight’s performance, and the show is hoping to run as usual from tomorrow evening, unless the severe weather continues.

Those who have bought tickets for tonight’s performance are in the process of being contacted in order to allocate ticket holders a different date to attend.

Tracy Letts’ ‘August: Osage County’ is a dark comedy which deals with the problems faced between a dysfunctional family following the death of their father.

Exeter University Theatre Company apologise for any inconvenience caused.
