New nightclub opens in Exeter

‘Reform’ nightclub on Fore Street opened on 31st October. It currently has free entry and features local and university DJs as well as hosting Thick As Thieves, Beats n Bass and Exit nights.

Billing itself as a ‘drum and bass, house music, hip hop and party anthems’ club, Reform will provide space for parties and society events. They will also host student nights with deals on beer, shots and spirits.

The owners, Rob Rinseout and Wes Atkinson, are local to Exeter. Rob commented: ‘the name Reform is a re incarnation of an old record/music shop I used to run next door to the new club about six years ago.’

He went on to say: ‘Myself and my partner as owners have over 25 years experience in the local music scene and have recognised a huge gap in the market for an alternative music venue focusing on quality dance music.

‘We have spent a lot of time and money totally transforming the venue giving it a rustic modern feel throughout. This would never have been possible if it wasn’t for the help of local trades people who helped us realise our vision.’
