Exeter University has been ranked 161st in the QS World University Rankings, maintaining its position from last year.
The QS World University Rankings is the largest international league table and places are allocated according to indicators such as academic and employer reputation.
Vice-Chancellor of the University of Exeter, Professor Sir Steve Smith, said: “This latest ranking reinforces Exeter’s position among the best universities in the world.
“It demonstrates not just our growing academic reputation through world-leading research, but also how our students benefit from our strong employer reputation.”
Humanities and science subjects were the most highly ranked within the university.
Earlier this year, CWTS ranked Exeter University sixth in the UK, eighth in Europe and within the top 40 in the world.
