ExeTech to host event showcasing student talent tonight

by Theo Stone

The Exeter University Technical Theatre and Events Service (ExeTech) are hosting an event to showcase the many talents that Exeter students have to offer.

Starting at 6:30pm tonight (Thursday 8 October) in the Lemmy, students can witness a number of societies in action.

Groups such as Sweet Nothings, Illuminations, National Acrobats, the Exeter Revue, Dead Poets and Steel Band performing throughout the evening.

Alongside this, there will be a number of interactive displays, hosted by XTV, Women in Business, Croquet Society and Art Soc among others. Here, students will be able to put their talents to the test to see if they want to join them.

Speaking to Exeposé, ExeTech President Sam Woolven affirmed his excitement for the event, stating that: “There will be such a variety of entertainment at Ex at Night, with student groups coming together to showcase their talent. Ex at Night promises to be an incredible event.”

He further added that “we also have a pizza van parked up outside selling stone-baked pizza throughout the night”.

Entrance is free.
