Preview: Beats and Bass Presents The Busy Twist

by Music

Responsible for bringing a myriad of DJs and artists to Exeter, a Beats & Bass event is always a perfect night out for those more inclined towards grime, jungle, garage and everything in between. This year Beats & Bass seem to be expanding on their alternative beats with more and more of an international influence. Last term they held a Caribbean Carnival themed event in collaboration with the African Caribbean Society, featuring a brilliant caribbean and latin music set.

This week, Beats & Bass are bringing you some West African flavour to brighten up these miserable dark winter days. The usual haunt at the Cavern will be headlined by The Busy Twist, who have spent the last three years travelling back and forth to Ghana, mixing modern African and London music. It promises to be an exotic night out if you’re looking to hear some international beats, from a society that continues to break and redefine the mould of student hangouts.

The Busy Twist headline Beats & Bass Society’s Cavern residency tomorrow night. For full information and tickets, click here.
