Pennsylvania Road sign gets ‘makeover’

by Fiona Potigny

APennsylvania Road sign has been defaced, leaving a rather rude alternative in its place.

Allegedly tampered with in the early hours of this morning, the sign had the latter half of ‘Pennsylvania’ whited out and the remaining letters highlighted in blue spray paint, causing the sign to read “Penis Road”.

A popular student accommodation location and home to the Co-operative, the road falls within the EX4 postcode – Exeter’s top crime spot, Exeposé reported last week.

No one has come forward to claim responsibility.
