Microsoft Studios has recently announced the release date of the first piece of DLC for their 2015 title Rise of the Tomb Raider, a sequel to the critically acclaimed 2013 reboot Tomb Raider. The DLC, titled ‘Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch’ will launch on Tuesday, 26th of January, initially as an Xbox exclusive piece of content. According to the studios, this new piece of content will feature the protagonist Lara Croft fighting forces both natural and supernatural as she attempts to unearth the secrets of a new tomb.
With the release of the PC port for the game coming only days later, on the 28th, there is a possibility that this new DLC will come pre-packaged with the game itself upon release, although Square Enix was unable to confirm this rumour. The likelihood is that it will be released further down the line as part of a season pass – a move already confirmed for the Xbox One.
