Exeposé Music is proud to present – in collaboration with XTV and Poltimore Festival – Poltimore Sessions. Set at the historic Poltimore House, the coming sessions will showcase our favourite local musicians in the build-up to Poltimore 2016.
Some Sort Of Threat
Some Sort Of Threat, the acoustic project of The Fairweather Band frontman Rory Matthews, deals in what Specialist Subject Records praises as “intricate, intelligent, political, personal songs”. Taking his cues from his immediate environment, Rory pens songs that are full to the brim but often come in at less than two minutes – sensitive yet energetic bursts of folk-punk in the vein of Andrew Jackson Jihad and Paul Baribeau that translate beautifully in the cavernous courtyard of Poltimore House.
Produced by Chris Filsell, Tristan Gatward, Cara Ludlow and Joe Stewart.
