What do actresses Carey Mulligan, Jennifer Lawrence and Angelina Jolie have in common?

Hollywood seemingly favours the young, Georgia Balmer argues, and considers anyone who rises to fame in their 30s 'late' to the game.

Data shows, however, that Hollywood's attitude towards male actors is different, with a 2016 Clemson report finding that past age 40, men possessed 80 per cent of leading roles.

The University of Exeter has asked students who ac

The University of Exeter has asked students who accepted offers to study medicine in September 2021 to defer until 2022 and in return, will compensate them with free accommodation during their first year and a cash bursary of £10,000.

This request for deferral comes as the University finds itself over subscribed as a higher proportion of students have chosen Exeter as their first choice but the requirement for NHS clinical placement years, and the £180,000 cost per medical degree means the government caps the available places per annum.

In June 2021, presenter Naga Munchetty revealed that having the coil fitted was 'one of the most traumatic physical experiences' of her life due to the pain it caused. She fainted twice during the procedure.

A few days after, Britney Spears' admission that she is not allowed to remove her IUD because of her 13-year long conservatorship shocked the public.

John Guillebaud, a professor of reproductive health at University College London, stated in 2016 that period pain can be as painful as heart attacks.

Yet female sexual health remains a taboo subject, Leah Frape writes, and pain during sex, menstration and certain reproductive health procedures is considered 'normal', despite it being a damaging lie.

The Exeter University Rugby Football Club (EURFC)

The Exeter University Rugby Football Club (EURFC) have launched an internal investigation following sexual assault and racial abuse allegations on social media.

Posts on Facebook platforms Exefess and Confexeter allege instances of sexual assault and harassment outside nightclub Timepiece, as well as racism and xenophobia outside accommodation blocks. A student on the private university group Overheard also made a post claiming rugby club members scratched her car and shouted abuse at her.

Keith Fleming, the Director of Rugby at the EURFC, stated in a comment to Exeposé that the “EURFC takes these allegations extremely seriously”, and made clear that club management “were unaware of any allegations against any members of the club” up to this point.

Fleming also stated that “as yet, nobody has approached the club regarding any of the accusations on Exefess and Confexeter” but emphasised that if they did so “their concerns will be treated with the utmost respect.”
