ExeFest, the University’s first-ever Campus Festival, has been announced. The Festival, which will take place on the 4th June, and is being sponsored by HubBox. British-American pop rock band The Hoosiers, best known for their hits ‘Goodbye Mr. A’, ‘Cops and Robbers’, and ‘Worried About Ray’, are the first act to be confirmed to play.
The website, which launched today, also invites students to volunteer to help run the event, as well as host spaces to create art installations, and exhibit personal and society-based endeavours. Bands and DJs based at Exeter are also invited to sign up for a chance to perform.
The promise of a campus music festival had been a major point in the manifesto of the current VP Activities, Tristan Gatward.
Early Bird tickets are now on sale for £30, alongside an ExeFest & Graduation Ball Combined ticket, which costs £69.
All details can be found on the festival’s website, and can be followed through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
