The Exeter marathon is set to return on Sunday the 19th of May, under the organisation of Exeter City Community Trust.
The marathon is said to be aimed at runners of different abilities. The trust claims that ‘it is ideal for those wanting to compete in a marathon for the first time’ or ‘perfect for seasoned runners looking to achieve a fast time.’

The route goes from St James Park, through the city centre and along the River Exe. According to the Trust, the route will offer ‘excellent scenery’ with ‘good viewing spots for spectators’.
The race is set to start at 9am and last for 5.5 hours. Final entry for competitors, who must be aged over 18, is Friday May 3rd.
Entries are now open for runners on the Exeter Community Trust website and more information will be given 7-10 days before the marathon.
