The route goes from St James Park, through the city centre and along the River Exe. According to the Trust, the route will offer ‘excellent scenery’ with ‘good viewing spots for spectators’.

The race is set to start at 9am and last for 5.5 hours. Final entry for competitors, who must be aged over 18, is Friday May 3rd.

Entries are now open for runners on the Exeter Community Trust website and more information will be given 7-10 days before the marathon.
