Independent Fashion Companies

by Evanna Kappos

Do you want to feel permanently like a badass, ethereal nomad? Sailaway Dress Co. Is the perfect answer – they market themselves as ‘hand crafted by family-run tailors in India for the feminine, adventurous and trade-conscious.’ Our very own Devon born founder-owner of the dress company, and world-class drummer, Holly Madge was someone I met briefly at their Wilderness festival stall. I was so tired of feeling like my clothes were overly fussy or that my white tee and jeans staple didn’t look put together enough. After *cough* accidentally *cough* buying a dress, I would swear by this company. You can wear their dresses from a ball to the beach, and feel effortlessly yourself. Scroll through their Instagram, @sailawaydresscompany and if you don’t happen to be heading to any of their pop up events, have a look at their online store, www.sailawaydresscompany.com. But be warned. You will buy one.
