I am so excited that the sun is finally out, and I don’t want to jinx it, but I feel like the rain has gone! This means only one thing: spring is finally upon us! And very soon, spring fashion and the latest trends will take over the shops and be all over our social media pages. So, here are a few of my predictions for what spring fashion has in store for us this spring 2019.
Firstly, one trend we always seem to associate with spring is florals! Every spring, the shops seem to be crawling with floral prints, whether it is a top, a jacket, a skirt or trousers. The best part about this trend is that there is always something for everyone – if you want the print to be subtle or to stand out, you can find it. So, look out in the shops for your favourite floral print, because, as always, they will be everywhere.
Secondly, I reckon neon will be a big spring trend this year. I think vibrant colours are what spring is all about this year, especially after the pastel colour trend. A piece of neon clothing worn with a neutral item would look lovely and very chic this spring.
Thirdly, I predict that the tie-dye print will still be as fashionable as it has been previously, despite being a trend from the 1960s! However, this year, I think the tie-dye print will be brighter, more colourful and vibrant than ever before. A tie-dye jumpsuit or maxi dress on top of a bikini, or even a two piece set would be a perfect wardrobe addition for spring. After all, we’re all bored of wearing black aren’t we?
