Can you love someone who represents everything you hate in the world? The world is in chaos. Hazel, a doctor, and Archer a space shuttle engineer fall in love. Archer’s work creating shuttle engines, when unsuccessful, has terrible repercussions on people’s health, leaving Hazel to deal with the results.

What is the cost when the one thing powerful enough to let them leave the planet could also completely destroy it?

A play for now about environmental concerns, divided political opinion, and how we can still love amongst it all.

Top Pick of the From Devon With Love Festival 2018 (Bike Shed Theatre).

‘I was immediately impressed by her [Hattie’s] real understanding of form and the quality of her dialogue. Definitely a writer to watch’ – Nikki Sved, Theatre Alibi

‘One of the most exciting new plays I’ve read recently…I haven’t stopped thinking about it since!’ – Oscar Owen, previous producer for Walrus Theatre.
