30 hot air balloons are set to take to the sky in Exeter this May. The Devonshire Balloon Festival will be appearing for the first time at Exeter Racecourse on Saturday, May 25th and Sunday, May 26th, and is set to be one of the biggest balloon and music festivals in the UK. An array of colourful balloons, ranging from whimsical to traditional designs, will fill the sky and create a spectacle that promises to entertain friends and families of all ages.

There will also be a display of BMX and FMX bikes that will perform tricks and stunts to thrill the crowds, in addition to wrestling shows and much more. The festival will also be scattered with local traders and a market of artisanal gifts and treats, along with face painters, hair braiders, and glitter tattooists, for activities catering to all ages. Food is available with a large street food court that also has a bar, and the giant funfair will allow for a variety of experiences during the day.
Devonshire Balloon Festival has teamed up with Exeter Tribute Festival and they are set to entertain the crowds on a massive 50m x 50m stage with the top tribute acts from the UK, such as Cher, Elvis, and other surprise headliners.
Early bird tickets are now on sale for only £5 per child and £7 per adult until the end of May, with car parking available at the venue, and park and ride as another option too. There also will be camping available on-site. Visit their Facebook page for more information.
