Djo performing at All Points East 2026 (Cristina Ferrin Pereda)

As someone very passionate about live music, I must say that All Points East 2026 (22nd of August) was the best festival experience that I have ever had. The running between stages, excessive tube queues, and abundance of dust were all worth it for such an immaculate experience – it was a fangirl’s dream.

Crying with Erin LeCount and Nell Mescal, dancing to Audrey Hobert and Zara Larsson, singing along to Sienna Spiro and Djo, all to end the night screaming your lungs out at Lorde with your best friends. The line-up was seamless, with only one clash (Djo and PinkPantheress); I think they did a great job of scheduling the acts, although I do have my qualms with the distance between stages, which helped me rack up over 30,000 steps that day.

The ticket itself was only around £90, which in this day and age, I think is a bargain. You can’t put a price on a line-up this good, and if you really think about it, it just about worked out to more or less £10 per performance! Also, I was surprised to find that none of the food stands was excessively priced, with it being an average of £10-15. There were also plenty of freebies around that you could queue to get, though I did prioritise the acts over this.

Now, I’m biased because I’m a die-hard Djo fan, but I have to say that his set was the best that day. It was just after sunset, the stage was packed, and the lights, sound, and performance were so energetic and fun that it had everyone jumping. It was really the perfect warm-up for Lorde. For me, that was the most memorable moment of the night, even though I had to split from my friends and watch it alone, because the ambience was so warm and welcoming that nothing could penetrate the spell that Joe Keery had the crowd under.
