Exeter University Business School Ranks Among Top Universities in Prestigious Global MBA Rankings.

Dec 1, 2020 – by Jacob Evans

The University of Exeter’s internationally accredited MBA programme has been ranked as one of the top 4 programmes in the UK and Europe according to the Corporate Knights’ Better World MBA Rankings 2020.

The 18th annual Better World MBA ranking has placed Exeter 11th globally; an increase of 8 places from the 2019 rankings. In total, 150 institutions are ranked based off of the following indicators:

  • Core course integration of sustainability
  • Faculty research publications on sustainability topics in 2019
  • Number of citations per paper involving sustainability
  • Sustainability focussed research institutes and centres
  • Faculty gender diversity
  • Faculty racial diversity

This is excellent news for the University, with Programme Director Jackie Bagnall stating that the MBA “is to inspire leaders for a better world”. Not only is the University of Exeter’s MBA situated at the forefront of contemporality, but it is also triple-accredited, among a prestigious minority of courses to be so. Integrating sustainability within all facets of industry is imperative in helping to tackle leading global debates and issues. The emphasis the MBA places on such issues has warranted such a high ranking, and international recognition of this goes a long way in solidifying the University as a leading global institute.
