If you are looking for a coffee shop straight out of your Pinterest board to spice up your Autumn dump on Instagram, Pink Ginger Flower Café is the place for you! Different to your average coffee shop, Pink Ginger sells blooms, bites and beverages with a Japanese theme, bound to liven up your usual coffee rotation.

Newly opened in March this year, the café is a breath of fresh air for students in Exeter. Nestled in Paris Street, right in the centre of town, the location is perfect for students to stop by on the way to uni or whilst shopping in town. Whether you are struggling with freshers’ flu and need homemade ginger tea, or you are sleep-deprived with an assignment coming up and in need of good coffee with a cosy backdrop, Pink Ginger is the perfect setting for your situation.

The café features delicious home baking and a diverse range of drinks which will suit whatever mood you are in. You can truly appreciate the dynamic approach to coffee with their regularly changing menus and drinks ranging from iced lattes to hojicha lattes. Each order is served with a real flower and is presented with beautiful ceramics on a wooden tray, creating the perfect presentation for pictures. There are also stunning local-grown flowers you can buy if you want to brighten up your uni accommodation this year.

The design and layout of the café also perfectly match the name Pink Ginger. Pink floors span the café and you can sit amongst the flowers and plants whilst you sip your drink. The café has a bottom floor covered in plants and pink, as well as a more peaceful top floor, with long windows for you to people-watch the town. There is also outdoor seating for the warmer seasons, so you never have to worry about a lack of space. And if you are low on time, no problem – the café offers takeaways too!

The owner and workers are also super friendly and welcoming and will ensure your visit is a positive one, catering to your every need. You can follow their Instagram to stay up to date on their latest special coffees and bakes.

The café is a truly unique experience for regular coffee-goers and adds some vibrancy to the Exeter High Street. It is the perfect place for any student occasion – it can empower you to stimulate your creativity whilst working or provide a cosy atmosphere for your girly catch-up. Whatever your situation, you would be seriously missing out if you don’t pay Pink Ginger a visit this year.
