FINAL SCORE: Exeter 17-27 Hartpury

And that’s all from us here at Twickenham – Hartpury take it by a score of 27-17 after a second-half resurgence.

1858 – Another try for Hartpury, and that’s pretty much us done here.

1851 – Try! Harry Randall breaks away from a quick penalty, and goes over in the corner giving Hartpury their first lead of the game. Conversion is missed.

1843 – Seb Negri goes off on a cart here after a particularly hard hit. Not a particularly nice sight to see, but he did manage to pull himself up to walk over to it. We wish him all the best.

1832 – Try! Jonus Mikalcius goes over as Hartpury respond immediately with an impressive attack. Conversion is good

1830 – Penalty to Exeter sees Maliq Holden pick up a yellow card. Landray dispatches the penalty, and we’re looking at a seven-point lead again

1822 – We’re back underway here at Twickenham for the second-half.

HALF TIME: That brings us to half-time here at Twickenham. Exeter hold the upper hand, but will they regret that decision not to kick for the posts?

1810 – Maliq Holden goes over in the corner for Hartpury on an advantage as the half draws to a close. That could be a big one – as the conversion is made from far out wide.

1753 – Try! Exeter get a lineout inside the Hartpury 22, and the ensuing maul sees Matt Eliet force his way over. Landray dispatches the conversion, and we’re looking at a 14-3 scoreline.

1744 – Hartpury’s Sam Leeming kicks an ambitious penalty at the posts…and he makes it!

1736 – Try! Ted Landray sneaks his way through, offloads to Tom Holdsworth whose composure then allows Aaron Bagwell to find his way through the posts. Landray makes the easy kick, and it’s an early 7-0 lead to Exe!

1728  – Ted Landray kicks us off – and we’re underway!

1648 – Hartpury XV: Alfie Barron, Luke Stratford, Alex Gibson, Henry Harper, Rob Fuller, Seb Negri (c) Callum Bowden, Morgan Morris, Harry Randall, Sam Leeming, Jonus Mikalcius, Jamie Forrester, Jamie Cooke, Harry Cochrane, Maliq Holden.

Replacements: Lewis Grinsell, Joe Wrafter, Jack Spencer, Harry Wilson, Tom Pashley, Lewis Dennett, Victor Pisasno

1644 – Exeter XV announced:

Replacements: Rauf Birler, Thomas Rhodes, Jack Rouse, Rory Lorimer, Ed Houchin, Callum Roberts, Jamie Wilcock

1637 – The women’s final has finished here, and it was a convincing win for Edinburgh who put up 48 points to Northumbria’s 5. Will we see a similar scoreline in the men’s game?

1615 – Exeter are able to name both the top try scored (Tom Lawday) and the top points scorer (Ted Landray) for the season among their squad – will they prove to be the difference here?

1600 – Let’s take a look back at the recent history between these two sides – and it’s been a story of home advantage. Hartpury ran out as 41-18 winners in the first meeting between the sides in round two of fixtures, but Exeter came out as the victors in a clash at Fortress Topsham by a scoreline of 42-10.

1530 – We’re live at the home of English Rugby – Twickenham – where EURFC 1s take on Hartpury in the BUCS Men’s Rugby Union Championship Final. It’s a glorious day, with the stadium bathed in sunshine. The women’s final between Northumbria and Edinburgh is currently underway, and we’ll be keeping you up to date with all the latest as it happens both on here and on twitter @ExeposeSport
