Exeposé has been shortlisted twenty times for the 2017 Student Publication Association Awards, nine more than any other student publication in the running.
The awards cover student publications across the UK & Ireland. Alongside nominations for ‘Best Publication‘, ‘Best Use of Digital Media‘, ‘Best Design (Newspaper)‘ and ‘Best Sport Coverage‘, a number of individual members of Exeposé also received nominations for a variety of articles.

Meanwhile, outgoing Print Editor Jeremy Brown’s interview with comedian Josh Widdicombe has made the running for ‘Best Interview’, outgoing Online Editor Theo Stone and outgoing Online News Editor Georgia Roberts make the cut for ‘Best News Story’ – with their pieces on rent price protests and the distribution of booklets branded “vomit-inducing”.
Multiple nominations went to outgoing Print Editor’s Susannah Keogh and Hannah Butler, with them receiving four and five nods respectively. Susannah Keogh was shortlisted twice for Best News Story for her reports on students dressing up as Oscar Pistorious and a murdered Reeva Stankamp, and her report on the perceived value of Residence Life Mentors. She has also been shortlisted for ‘Best Reporter‘ and ‘Best Entertainment‘; for her piece on keeping perfection in perspective.
