The coronavirus is a great mystery, but the question that Italy has posed is even more of a mystery. This article argues that there is not so much an outbreak of COVID-19 as there are greater controlling measures in Italy that Europe should be following by example – while also shedding light on the various factors that this coronacrisis is causing Italy to mitigate.
