The National Student Survey (NSS) 2022 ranks the University of Exeter highest out of all Russell Group universities for ‘Overall Satisfaction,’ with 82.7 per cent of students reporting a satisfactory student experience.

Each year final-year students across the UK anonymously complete the NSS survey to share their experiences of their time at university. Universities and Colleges use students’ feedback to improve their courses.

The University of Exeter’s 82.7 per cent overall satisfaction ranking was the highest among Russell Group universities and the 13th highest in the industry.

We are pleased to see that our students have reported a high level of satisfaction, but please be assured that we will continue to work throughout the coming year to bring further improvements.

Professor Tim Quine, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education)

As the University of Exeter donates £1 for each student that responds, with 62 per cent of final-year students completing the survey, the University has been able to donate £3,598 to Raise and Give (RAG) in Exeter and Raise and Donate (RAD) in Cornwall.

The university has asked 2023 graduates to complete the National Student Survey, which re-opens next January.
