Online Editor-in-Chief
From an eager first-year contributor to steering the ship as Online Editor-in-Chief, Harry has thrown himself into all aspects of Exeposé over the last three years. Entering his third year at Exeter as a History student, he is thrilled now to take on the paper’s most senior role. Whilst music journalism remains a soft spot in Harry’s heart, having served as Print Music Editor the previous year, he has never shied away from venturing beyond the arts. Writing pieces across news, features, lifestyle and more, Harry thrives on exploring the stories that matter most to students – whether spotlighting student achievements or capturing outstanding student-led organisations.
At the heart of Harry’s work is his love for people. For him, journalism and socialising go hand in hand: he thrives on meeting new faces, hearing their stories, and sharing them on a platform where they can be celebrated. That same love of conversation has also shaped his passion for broadcast journalism. As host of Off the Page with Exeposé, the paper’s podcast, Harry relishes bringing stories to life through interviews and discussion, from everyday student life to wider national and international issues. His enthusiasm for audio storytelling, paired with his love of radio and podcasts, fuels his ambition to expand Exeposé’s multimedia presence.
Away from the newsroom, Harry can often be found on the tennis courts, balancing essay deadlines with drop shots as a keen member of the University of Exeter Tennis Club, where he also served as Social Sec. Socialising remains a key part of his Exeter experience and lifestyle, whether that’s late nights at The Vic with friends or being an avid TP Wednesday fan.
Whether behind the mic, on the tennis court, or out hunting Exeter’s best pint of Guinness, Harry brings the same energy and curiosity to everything he does — qualities he’s eager to pour into Exeposé this year.

Online Editor-in-Chief
Now in his third year at Exeter, Zandie is Online Editor-in-Chief, having been a writer in his first year and Online Music Editor in his second.
With a passion for the Screen, Music, and Sport sections in particular (they are less controversial!!), he has written on topics ranging from the use of isolated settings in horror films to Champions League previews, to the importance of album covers in the modern day.
When he is not writing, he is most likely on Letterboxd, logging, reviewing and researching films that spark his interest. He is never happier than when talking about and recommending films.
He also has a big passion for music, from Bob Dylan to ABBA, Green Day to Olivia Dean, and Oasis to Olivia Rodrigo, he is always down to share his favourite artists and loves a Cavern Saturday indie night.
Football is also central to his life, playing for the History Society. As a Southampton fan, he has experienced his fair share of pain in recent years, but it’s all for the love of the game and he has even commentated on Exeter City FC games too.
He hopes all these interests will make him a great Editor-in-Chief and is looking forward to a fantastic year leading Exeposé.
Print Editor-in-Chief
From humble Screen and Arts & Lit editor to working with the team as Editor-in-Chief, Emily loves nothing more than rambling about her favourite books and films, as well as delving deeper into the artistic world around them, and sneaking a peek behind the scenes. Having written across various Exeposé sections, she aims to entertain and thrill readers with passionate convictions and the odd scathing cynicism, whether she is shamelessly nerding out about cinema or exploring poignant topics of the day. Her strong commitment to activism and raising awareness about humanitarian and ecological issues pulls her writing in both local and international directions; her Italian roots anchoring her strongly to European cultural and political concerns, whilst never taking an eye off the wider world. She hopes to make her pieces entertaining to readers, as well as deeply significant within the journalistic sphere, holding individuals and collectives accountable for their actions, no matter their scale. There is no topic she won’t turn her pen to, priding herself on having written articles that vary from examining the rise in right-wing European governments, or institutional attitudes towards the Palestinian conflict, to celebrating her year abroad in New Zealand, or reviewing Sam Fender’s latest album.
Print Editor-in-Chief
As a Master’s English student, Kayleigh can be found non-stop reading and writing, whether that be for essays, Exeposé, or fun. As she now takes on the role of print Editor-In-Chief, alongside Emily, she’s excited to get stuck in and share the stories that really matter to students. When she is eventually dragged away from her word docs, she can be found browsing books that she will never buy, binge watching 2000s sitcoms or, most commonly, listening to Taylor Swift. The place you are most likely to spot her is not in her lovely student house, but instead the media office; her co-editors are concerned that she will start moving in her belongings soon. Rumour has it that she is starting a petition to get a kettle installed so she won’t have to leave to refill her cups of tea. She is interested in covering a wide range of topics, regularly writing for every section of the paper. Throughout her undergraduate degree she has seen how important the work Exeposé do is for students, and wants to keep that legacy going. She is so excited to get stuck in and uncover fresh stories. However, above all else, Kayleigh is thrilled to be working with such a great team and can’t wait to see what everyone will accomplish throughout the year.
Online Deputy Editor
Daniel is proud to be back on the Exposé team as one of this year’s online deputies. If computer science students can be spotted a mile off, Daniel is no exception: he is quick to claim that no tech catastrophe is ever beyond saving, and that anyone can get into writing (essays can’t be that hard?). Daniel is keen to offer his hand to the online side this year, ensuring the paper keeps pace. Serving as one of last year’s tech editors, Daniel has covered supercomputing developments and a galactic-themed choir in his time with Exposé and is keen to tackle more alongside the new team. Attracted to journalism from a young age, he knows there is no better way for students to exchange opinions and scrutinize their surroundings. Like any promising computer scientist, he is known to spend too much time behind his precious laptop keyboard, experimenting with web apps and LLMs. Daniel pretends otherwise, though, and spends his free time exploring our great region of Devon and soaking up its many offerings. He takes this passion to his articles, giving all his stories a local spin. Though recruiting anyone on his STEM course remotely interested in journalism is a different kind of struggle, Daniel is excited to support writers of all backgrounds carve their mark in Exeter’s student discussion – it’s our paper after all.
Online Deputy Editor
Having set her eyes on joining Exeposé ever since receiving her first copy of the student newspaper during Freshers’ Week, Michelle is thrilled to start her final year as Deputy Editor.
In previous years, she has focused on contributing to long-form articles as Online Features Editor. Last committee’s initiative to be more student-led saw her actively scoping for exclusive stories within Exeter. This pulls local achievements and discourse out of university, driving local narratives into one giant conversation on the world wide web. Her favourite works include a firsthand insight into the country’s first Magic Masters course, interviewing locals at Exeter Pride, and profiling Devon Councillor Thomas Richardson after his election win.
Now a senior editor, Michelle will continue the student-led legacy and back student voices in traditional journalism and other creative media in Exeposé.
Print Deputy Editor
Amberly is super excited to part of the print senior team as your Print Deputy Editor, after a successful year of Online Deputy Editor. She is entering her final year studying psychology & sport science, and she dreams of becoming a writer and a journalist, focussing on science, climate, and culture.
Amberly has been a part of Exeposé for all four years at Exeter. In her first year, amberly wrote for the lifestyle, sport, and sci-tech sections, focussing on sustainability and women’s sport, which inspired her to run for an editorial roll in her second year – Print Lifestyle Editor. During her time editing the lifestyle section, Amberly wrote an article for eating disorder awareness week, a topic close to her heart, which was awarded ‘Best Print Contribution’ at the X-Media end of term ball in summer 2024. Amberly has gone on to be recognised nationally for her work, and was nominated for the ‘Best Sci-tech Piece’ at SPA’s national conference in april this year, for her piece titled ‘Rain for the mind, body, and soul’.
Outside of Exeposé, Amberly plays hockey for ISCA, and previously played for the university. She has played hockey at club and county level since the age of 14, and loves everything about the sport – who wouldn’t want to smack a hard ball across a pitch to de-stress after deadline season! Amberly is an advocate for mental health, and created a zine for mental health awareness week, ‘Talk About It’, which can be picked up on campus, or viewed online.
When she’s not playing hockey, in the media office, or in lectures, she can usually be found in a coffee shop, drinking endless oat milk cappuccinos and writing about anything, and everything, that comes to her mind.

Lauren’s journey with Exeposé began in her first year at Exeter, when she got the role of Administrative Executive and won the Exeposé award for the Best Newbie at that year’s Xmedia Christmas ball. In her second year, she progressed to Print Arts and Literature Editor, where she took full advantage of press tickets and reviewed many theatre shows at our very own Northcott theatre! She achieved the Exeposé rainbow in her second year, by writing for every section of the newspaper, although her articles do tend to lean more towards the Exhibit sections. She is excited to return to Exeposé this year as a Print Deputy Editor, after her year-in-industry, where she worked as the UK Publishing Intern for The Walt Disney Company in London. She hopes to continue working in publishing in her future career. Lauren is a final-year Liberal Arts student, who is majoring in English Literature. Outside of her studies, she is an avid reader, in particular of sci-fi and fantasy novels, and murder mysteries. If she doesn’t have her nose in a book, then she can probably be found with headphones in, blasting Taylor Swift, Noah Kahan or something musical-theatre-y. She also enjoys a good Cavern Indie night.

Beginning her third year studying English at Exeter, Megs is excited to start her role as Social Media Executive. She is excited to challenge herself to grow Exeposé’s digital presence beyond its renowned print edition, exploring fresh and creative ways to engage with our online audience. As a lifelong lover of the arts – from drawing and music to interior design – Megs has always been surrounded by creativity. Now, she’s eager to channel that passion into producing visually engaging and dynamic content across all social media platforms, all while growing in confidence along the way. With a keen eye for visual merchandising, she is focused on creating a digital space that reflects both Exeposé’s professionalism and its inclusive, welcoming nature for emerging student writers who are looking to join us in the new academic year. Thriving off harmonic colour schemes and clean considered layouts and designs, keep an eye out for a change of pace across our social media as Megs works to develop our online personality. Whether it’s becoming a Canva expert, filming her first ever TikTok or making a podcast debut, Megs can’t wait to throw herself all into Exepose and everything her new role has to offer.

As a first-year law student, Orlando is delighted to be working with Exeposé as its Financial Executive and also as Online Comment Editor. Maintaining the integrity of a student-run newspaper underpins the commitment he brings to both of these roles. This includes an assurance of expression across a broad range of viewpoints and ensuring the paper can continue to function as a forum for open discussion and debate across the university. His belief in open dialogue and appreciating diverse perspectives has been – and continues to be – nurtured by a pan-European background. Through these positions, he aims to ensure Exposé retains its name as a platform for informed student opinion on the issues faced in both Britain and abroad.

Going into his second year studying Politics, Lucas is excited to start in his role as print comment editor to continue his love of both student and broader journalism. His passion stems both from a deep interest in political issues both domestic and abroad, as well as a love for the stories and communities that make up our amazing university. With a passion for getting more students involved in journalism about all their possible interests and ideas, the role of comment editor is perfect for him. He is looking forward to seeing and enabling more articles across all facets of university and wider life; a keen advocate for the importance of journalism both within his own subject specialty of politics and the interests of all students keen to share their voices. Particularly with the current events of the world, he is keen to share the vital importance of journalism within the modern world. Outside of this role, he can often be found around the local pubs of Exeter or enjoying endless coffee refills while trying to cram reading and working on assignments in the Imperial. His tireless reading across many topics gives him a broad and unique perspective, and a keen ability to understand and empathise with other viewpoints.

Print Features Editor
Having written for Exeposé since her first year of university, Ria has enjoyed writing across a wide range of article sections, including News, Satire, and Lifestyle. However, she found herself particularly drawn to the Features section as it resonates deeply with her political interests and international background. Now, as Print Features Editor, she looks forward to exploring new issues, ranging from national to local concerns.
Ria has always had a passion for journalism, having previously served as an editor for her high school’s magazine. With her new editorial role, she is eager to deepen her love for journalism further.
As a British Ghanaian, she brings a unique global perspective and an understanding of the importance of inclusivity and diversity, which she aims to promote by highlighting underreported news stories in the Features section. Additionally, as a second-year student of politics and international relations, Ria stays informed about global affairs, and this will be reflected in the content produced, which can be assured to be up-to-date.
Outside of Exeposé, you can find Ria baking for her friends and family, engrossed in books, playing video games, or rewatching her favourite early 2000s sitcoms and rom coms. She is always open to new ideas, constructive feedback, and any challenge that comes her way. Ria looks forward to making a meaningful impact as Print Features Editor.
Print Features Editor
In her third year studying English, Bethany is delighted to step into the role of Print Features Editor, hoping to share her vision of the ever-changing stories that shape our lives at Exeter and beyond. Her devotion to features stems from the section’s testament to lived experience, whether emotional or objective, with a keen interest in feminist discourse, both local and worldwide.
Some of Bethany’s role models range from Jane Austen to Emma Watson, Patti Smith to Margaret Atwood, inspired by strong women who are unafraid of independence and challenge. The inspiration she has gained from these voices has broadened her perspective on what matters in writing — drawing people together. Likewise, Bethany intends to curate features that connect readers and find shared spaces of empathy and honesty. She recognises that the reader’s learning is just as valuable as that of the writer. Bethany looks forward to building a section that responds to changes across the university, spotlighting passionate and relevant student voices that exchange both hardship and humour – communicating a genuine commitment to storytelling and creativity.
In her spare time, Bethany can be found reading in a cosy corner with a mug of tea, enjoying everything from intense political debates to romantic fiction. She is also a keen member of Bodysoc – spending many mornings at yoga practice and evenings at pilates. She finds this a great source of reflection and gentle movement within her busy university routine. One of her favourite things about university is the heartfelt friendships that become your support network and, of course, a society ball invitation – which she sees as a perfect excuse to dress up for the night. With a mission to discover multifaceted experiences, Bethany is prepared for a fun and fierce year of being your Print Features Editor.

Online Sports Editor
Already having a year of being Online Sport Editor under his belt, Connor is looking forward more than ever to having another swing at it in his final year at university. A term abroad in Tunisia isn’t going to stop him from ensuring as many sports as possible are covered at both a university level and nationally. While he’s spent his life playing a vast array of sports, he watches even more of them. A man who spent his A-Levels and the brunt of his degree watching tennis on his phone behind a laptop screen, Connor’s main sporting passions lie in tennis and cricket. Away from those, having come from a family of Mancunians, he falls on the blue side of the fence, and can often be found in Exposé’s sports pages expending his energy defending Manchester City.
At Exeter, she is a member of UOEWFC and previously played for the Sunday League team in her first year—an experience she loved for its team spirit, lively atmosphere, and, of course, the post-match trips to The Vic. Although an injury has sidelined her from playing this year, she remains actively involved in the society. Writing for Exeposé’s sports section has been a rewarding way to stay connected to the sports community on campus.
As Sports Editor, she is particularly keen to spotlight a wide range of sports societies and celebrate the diversity of sporting life at Exeter. She looks forward to working with section writers to explore and highlight stories across different teams and disciplines.

She has backpacked through over ten countries, gaining insight into a variety of cultures—and even attending football matches in Ghana, Uruguay, Argentina, and Brazil! These global experiences have deepened her appreciation for sport as a universal language and a cultural connector.

Chloe is a first year student studying BA English and Media and Communications and beyond excited to take on the role of Print Sport Editor. Her passion for sports journalism stems from its broad nature and depth, particularly when writing about what occurs beyond the pitch. Following a range of sports, particularly football and rugby, Chloe has a clear passion for sport and has been an active participant in an array of sports during her time at school.
As Sports Editor, she is motivated to highlight content on a range of sports, pushing for pieces that can appeal to a wider audience. Acknowledging Exeter’s sporting successes and passions, she is keen to also promote the achievements of Exeter students and alumni, truly illustrating the high-quality of sporting societies within the university.
As well as sport, Chloe has a broad range of passions, leading her to consistently attempt the Rainbow Award for the Exeposé. In particular, her passion for arts, literature, and philosophy have strengthened her appreciation for and motivation to produce high-quality journalism that matches the newspaper’s high-standard.
Her passion and interest in sport, coupled with the skillset to create well-written journalism, brings a unique outlook to the role of Print Sport Editor, as well as the paper as a whole.

Online Lifestyle Editor
As a third-year history and ancient history student at Exeter, Hayley is very excited to be a part of the Exeposé team as one of your online lifestyle editors.
Hayley joined the Exeposé in her second year and wrote a few articles for the lifestyle section. She fell in love with the uplifting and engaging content, especially around the Christmas period; her first article was about Christmas traditions and started her love for all things Exeposé.
Hayley loves all things food, travel and fashion and can always be found watching the latest season of the Kardashians or any other reality show. The lifestyle section is the perfect place to explore all of this and get new perspectives on hot topics of today.
It is this variability of the lifestyle section that inspired Hayley to run for editor, and she is excited to get stuck in.
Outside of the Exeposé, Hayley loves Harry Potter and has the films on repeat all year round. She is also an avid F1 fan, with McLaren being her favourite team and Lando Norris her favourite driver. Sundays are strictly reserved for F1.
She is looking forward to a great year and to continue the success of the online lifestyle section.
Print Lifestyle Editor
In her final year reading Politics, Yasmine is a delighted to be stepping into the role of Lifestyle Editor at Exeposé, where she’s excited to blend thoughtful cultural commentary with a fun political edge. A self-confessed foodie and theatre kid, she’s written on everything from theatre as therapy and campus food spots to summer styling, risqué lyrics, and levelling up your life through podcasts. Her pieces, like Little Acts of Love and Is This What We Want?, which explored the government’s AI policy through the lens of the music industry, aim to strike a balance between reflection, humour, and cultural relevance.
Alongside Lifestyle, Yasmine has contributed to Screen, Satire, Music, Comment, and Arts & Lit, covering everything from movie and exhibition reviews to Lola Young’s latest tracks, and poking fun at Exeter culture in pieces about fake jobs and the sacred rite of the gap year. Her passion for lifestyle writing began with reading magazines—not just for inspiration in her work, but in her daily life. A standout moment came when a lecturer told her she’d taken fashion advice from one of Yasmine’s Exeposé articles.
Outside the newsroom, Yasmine’s interests range from the political to the playful. She’s passionate about politics and public policy, and splits her time between committee and board meetings, playing tennis, and adding to her scrapbook and trinket collection. With her love of storytelling and eye for cultural detail, she’s looking forward to leading a Lifestyle section that’s warm, witty, and full of personality and making LIFESTYLE!! a section to remember.
Print Lifestyle Editor
As she begins her second year, studying History & English Literature at Exeter, Betsy is excited to undertake her new role of Print Lifestyle Editor. With an eclectic range of interests, from music to fashion, she’s hoping to provide engaging and current articles for both Exeposé members to write and students to read, keeping her finger on the pulse of all things lifestyle. An avid fan of The Guardian’s ‘Blind Date’ column since childhood, potentially prematurely, Betsy has always been interested in lifestyle print and can’t wait to take on a more integral role as part of the Exeposé. With a specific interest in travel, having travelled America, Australia and South-East Asia in one too many gap years, her interest in international culture will no doubt be incorporated into her role as Lifestyle Editor. When not in the library, Betsy can always be found at a Cavern Saturday or losing a match of intermural netball. She’s also a keen amateur actor, often working in background television and her love of the arts, both on stage and screen, will definitely be incorporated into some articles this year. She’s thrilled to be leading such a wide-ranging, varied and exciting section for 2025/6!

Print Music Editor
In her final year studying English and Creative Writing, Sarah is ecstatic to take on the role of Print Music Editor. Her passion for music has been instilled in her since she was a young girl, being accomplished in both the Clarinet and the Tenor Saxophone, with a determination to expand her playing into various other instruments (her latest obsession being the Ukulele!) Sarah’s taste ranges from the classics of the Beatles, getting groovy with the Bee Gees and Abba, rocking out to the Talking Heads and the Clash, and of course, her favourite musician of all time, Billy Joel. But she also has a huge appreciation for the music of today, with artists like SZA, Olivia Rodrigo, Still Woozy, and Mac DeMarco being on repeat. Sarah’s favourite ways to spend time is either listening to her records with a good book or going out to live gigs (an expensive hobby, she knows). When she isn’t wearing her headphones, she can be found either watching a good movie, preferably a dystopian or dark comedy, or writing stories that she hopes to one day see on the big screen herself. With her background and ever-growing passion for music, Sarah is excited to take on the role of Print Music Editor this year and looks forward to collaborating with others to bring diverse perspectives to each issue.
Online Music Editor
Amelie is in her second year of studying History but is excited to explore her passion for music through her role as one of Exeposé’s Online Music Editors. While it cannot be denied that Radiohead feature consistently as her top artist on Spotify Wrapped every year, she enjoys a wide variety of genres and musicians. Her music taste has been heavily influenced by growing up in a music-centred household, soundtracked by The Doors, Talking Heads, Fleetwood Mac and David Bowie. However, more recent artists who feature in her beloved playlists include Loyle Carner, Fontaines D.C., Phoebe Bridgers, Wolf Alice, and Clairo, whom she has been fortunate enough to see live. Growing up in Oxford, the birthplace of bands like Foals and Supergrass, she has a particular passion for highlighting the importance of small, independent music venues and musicians. With that in mind, she can often be found supporting local bands and venues in Exeter and hopes to use this role as an opportunity to draw more attention to the wealth of musical talent in Exeter and Devon more broadly. If not desperately trying to untangle her wired earphones, which she refuses to give up, she can often be found chasing the high of experiencing live music at an Old Firehouse Gig or Cavern Saturday. Having already written extensively for the music section last year, Amelie plans to utilise the music section as a platform for creative expression and community, featuring reviews of the latest releases, commentary on the industry, and interviews with local musicians.

Maya is a third-year BA English and Creative Writing student who’s really excited to be an Online Music Editor this year. Last year, she began writing for the Music section and started a series of interviews with local musicians that she’d love to keep up. She would love to hear pitches from our writers about music they think is underrated or any local artists they find interesting.
Maya’s taste in music is varied to say the least. Her favourite genres are art rock, trip hop, post-punk, and shoegaze. Some of her favourite bands include Black Country, New Road, Geese, The Strokes, Fontaines D.C., Candy Claws, The Beatles, and Neutral Milk Hotel. Her favourite solo artists are Fiona Apple, PJ Harvey, and Father John Misty. She can often be found recommending albums to her unwilling friends, citing them as “underground” and “niche.” She loves writing in-depth, track-by-track album reviews and analysing lyrics.
She loves going to concerts, and the best performer she’s ever seen is PJ Harvey. She’s seen artists from Big Thief and Lana Del Rey to Fontaines D.C. and Kneecap. She’s especially interested in the political and social dimensions of music and welcomes any articles related to that topic. She’d also love our writers to cover more international music! Maya is always happy to discuss music with anybody and is super excited to step into this role.

In her second year studying English, Charlotte is an avid film fan and is excited to step into this role as Print Screen Editor. She has an eclectic taste; she equally enjoys the gory violence of Tarantino as well as the dreamy aesthetics of Guadagnino and Gerwig. She hopes to bring this blended appreciation of genre and form into her content calls, pushing writers to think outside the filmic box.
When writing her English essays Charlotte seizes every opportunity to bring in film or pop culture; this includes a New Materialist analysis of Call Me by Your Name and a political dissection of the power of drag in The Adventures of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert. Charlotte hopes to bring her passion for politics and culture into her content calls too by mixing film analysis with political commentary.
Outside of writing and editing, Charlotte loves to play hockey, netball and tennis. You can usually find her at the Sports Park on a Sunday evening, cheering on the Tequila Mockingbirds netball team or running around the hockey pitch with the Elephants.

Isabel is in her third year of studying English Literature, and is excited to be one of Exeposé’s Print Arts and Lit Editors. She has been writing for Exeposé since her first year, and has fallen in love with journalism. Isabel carries an immense amount of passion for the arts, and is thrilled to share this with other writers, and with readers. She has a particular interest in older works, such as Ancient Roman or Early Modern poetry, literature, and theatre. In her spare time, she writes poetry and fiction pieces, on her creative writing blog. She is even working on a horror novel! Writing has always been a hobby of hers, as she loves creating new stories and worlds. With this love for writing, Isabel is looking forward to creating more opportunities within Exeposé for creative writers. Outside of her studies, Isabel is an instructor for Pole Fitness Society, frequenting their bi-weekly socials, and performing in their termly showcases. She can often be found working out at the gym; enjoying a refreshing pint of cider at the pub with friends; or sitting and writing in Reed Hall gardens. With her passion for the arts, Isabel is excited to be stepping into the role of Print Arts and Lit editor this year.
Amber Platel

Following a year in industry working as a marketing intern for a science consultancy, Amber is thrilled to return to her true interests and join the editing team at Exeposé as Print Arts and Lit Editor. Having contributed to the section throughout her first and second years at Exeter, she’s excited to help shape its direction and uphold the high standard and diversity of content it’s known for.
Amber is in the final year of her English and Creative Writing degree and refuses to even pop to the shop without a notebook and her current read in her bag. Books have consumed Amber since she was a child, alternating between the children’s classics downloaded for free on her mum’s Kindle and devouring the pile of Jacqueline Wilson books provided by her cool older cousin. She now reads any book presented to her, favouring ones that could make her cry, while trying to battle her persistent big book phobia. Whilst Amber’s reading habit has persisted from a very young age, her interest in theatre and art has blossomed since spending her placement year living in London, which has provided her with access to more museums, galleries and theatres than she could have dreamed of.
Previously an editor for Exeter’s creative writing journal, Enigma, Amber looks forward to exploring her journalistic interests. As she steps into the role, she is eager to craft exciting content calls, champion contributors’ pitches, and help make this year’s Arts & Lit section the best it can be.

Brook is thrilled to be taking on the role of online arts and lit editor. Brook is an avid reader, currently studying English and Creative writing, with goals of eventually having published work of her own. She enjoys a range of literature and art, specifically explorations of feminist theory- which she aims to expand upon in her future education. Brook cares passionately about the environment and animal welfare, and finds literature is an excellent way to examine how the world truly works. While with the Exeposé, Brook hopes to turn the spotlight to areas that may not have had their chance to shine, with the hope that people can discuss all their interests, no matter how niche. When Brook is not at work in a bustling kitchen, she can most definitely be found at Exmouth beach (no matter the weather) or slowly working her way through every cafe in the city centre. Brook hopes to bring some fresh and bold additions to the Exeposé, that she hopes will excite our readers and writers alike.

Anoushka Dutta
Online International Editor
Anoushka is thrilled to be online international editor at Exeposé, as a fourth-year student of international relations herself. An avid reader, she loves doing deep dives into world politics, flicking through copies of the Guardian at Forum library and listening to the Rest is Politics. In her third year, Anoushka studied abroad in Sydney, where she also wrote for her university paper. Writing as a Brit in Australia, as well as interning for Condé Nast Traveller, Anoushka aims to bring a fresh, global perspective to Exeposé. She wants to encourage other writers to talk about their incredible travel experiences, from the challenges of adjusting to a new place to the savvy socialising tips study abroad students have learnt along the way. She wants to show those considering studying abroad, or travel generally that it’s an essential experience for students, no matter how far you go. You’ll find her exploring Exeter’s restaurants and bars with the same zeal as she did abroad. Studying Spanish too, Anoushka loves a foreign language film at the campus cinema. She wants writers to express themselves in different languages, explore new cultures and comment on our concerns for the world through our unique perspectives as young people.
Lola Milroy-Tompkins
Online International Editor
As a second year Anthropology student, Lola is excited to join the team as the Online International Editor. Having only started writing for Exepose in her second year, Lola has written across sections for print and online versions of Exepose, and can’t wait to try out writing for every section she can.
She shows a particular passion for international and political events and analysis, having written before on topics such as the anti-immigration protest movements. However, she has dipped into other sections, including sci-tech on IVF treatments and climate on geoengineering! Lola is exploring journalism and diplomacy as future careers, and so can’t wait to work with her team to investigate global issues and news.
When Lola isn’t writing her articles, she can be found grinding out essays in the library or in the sweet aisle at Marketplace. She is especially partial to a white chocolate Kinder Bueno bar. Her dream article might actually be writing a lifestyle piece about her sugar addiction!

Now in his third year studying History, Antoni is excited to take on the role of Print International Editor. He hopes to use this opportunity to share and explore a wide range of global issues, offering fresh perspectives on world affairs—whether in the realms of culture, politics, or heritage.
With a deep passion for learning, Antoni is particularly interested in linguistics, foreign customs, and travel. He believes the world is full of overlooked stories and cultural gems that deserve greater attention and appreciation. His aim is to help shine a light on these lesser-known narratives, celebrating the richness and diversity of global experiences.
Antoni is always open to suggestions from fellow contributors and readers. While not ignoring major global headlines, he is especially keen to explore stories that mainstream news outlets often overlook. Through this approach, he hopes to offer alternative insights into the world we live in.
Drawing on his Polish background, Antoni has a strong interest in Eastern European politics and culture—areas he intends to explore more deeply during his time at Exeposé.
In his spare time, Antoni enjoys watching crime documentaries and investigative films, always eager to unravel complex mysteries and uncover hidden truths.
As President of the University of Exeter’s Polish Society—following his role as Vice President in his second year—he has collaborated with a wide range of cultural and international societies. These experiences have broadened his perspective and deepened his appreciation for global diversity.
With a genuine enthusiasm for understanding the world around him, Antoni is ready to bring thoughtful, original insight to his role as Print International Editor.
As he begins his third and final year studying Geography, Jed is excited to continue as the Print International Editor for Exeposé. He began writing for the paper in his second year, quickly developing a passion for international stories. Combining this with his Geography background, the International section extensively explores geopolitics, cultural events, travel destinations, little-known countries, and – most enthusiastically for Jed – aviation. As editor, Jed aims to feature a diverse range of voices from Exeter’s thriving international community, showcasing stories from cultural celebrations rarely observed in the UK, to languages many readers may never have encountered. He is also keen to provide coverage of global politics that might escape the average student’s radar – such as the first Syrian elections since the fall of the Assad regime. Beyond international affairs, Jed is a dedicated rock and roll fan, with a particular love for Dire Straits and AC/DC. Jed can often be found plane spotting – whether in Exeter or London – or making spontaneous trips across Europe, rather than spending nights in the familiar realm of Timepiece. These passions drive Jed’s ambition to make the International section a dynamic section to explore the international news of the day, global politics, and the different cultures which shape our ever-changing world.

Julia is a second-year Medical Sciences student who is excited to join the Exeposé team as Print Sci-Tech Editor! While struggling through chemical equations last year she decided to try something new, embrace her inner Rory Gilmore, and start writing for the paper. She very quickly discovered her passion for journalism and is looking forward to embracing the new challenge of being on the other side of the writing process. Julia strongly believes that in the age of social media it is more important than ever to have access to a reliable source of scientific information, and is determined to make Exeposé that source for students at Exeter. From providing updates on the latest findings, to creating a platform for students to express their excitement for all things science, Julia is aiming to make this ever evolving and complex field more engaging and accessible to all. She is particularly interested in writing about health and biomedical research, specifically focusing on women’s health. When she isn’t drowning in assignments and deadlines, Julia can be found spending too much money on books in Waterstones, blasting Lana Del Rey through her airpods, and sipping on an iced matcha. Her many hobbies include baking, crocheting, reading (obviously), and figure skating which she has recently taken up. She can’t wait to read all your articles this year and is open to hearing all your ideas.
Online Sci-Tech Editor
Anna is a third-year Biological Sciences student and is very excited to start her new role as Online SciTech Editor. She has previously written articles on topics ranging from gut health and novel cancer treatments to how AI can be used in coral conservation. Her dissertation explores the therapeutic use of faeces to treat inflammatory bowel disease so she’s definitely not afraid to tackle the less glamorous topics! She loves how journalism helps her turn her passion for science into stories to help people engage with their health and wellbeing.
Outside of uni, Anna enjoys staying active by running, yoga and going to the gym. She previously lived in Barcelona as an au pair where she fell in love with all things Spanish, and she now studies Spanish alongside Biology (a slightly weird combination!). Her other hobbies include baking, cooking, and going to the beach. She is currently learning to surf – slowly but enthusiastically – and will take any chance she can get to be by the sea.
