Sexual assault triples in Exeter since 2010

Criminal reports of sexual assault in the city of Exeter have tripled in the past ten years, but the number of successful criminal charges has dropped from 23 per cent to three per cent.

Exeter’s top crime spots revealed

A citywide crime map has been released, revealing which areas in Exeter reported the most incidents in July this year. The interactive online map breaking down total recorded crimes by location showed Mary Arches street to be Exeter’s most crime-prone area. Our senior team is made up of 2 online editors, Maddie and Ria who oversea our online content, 2 print editors, Bryony and Kamila who oversea our print editions and 2 deputy editors, Pete and Richard who do a mixture of both. The team this year has a really strong dynamic and some slightly varied degrees with only half of us doing English ! (Unusual for us) 📚
